Hello, my name is Melissa, and I started with State Farm in 2002. I have spent all but five years of my career with State Farm and am proud to be part of the Janice Thompson State Farm team, where I serve as the office manager. I am licensed in both Georgia and Alabama. I find great joy in serving the Douglasville community as part of the State Farm family. With a positive mindset and a genuine desire to assist others, I am here to help fulfill your insurance needs.
I am happily married to Tim, and we will be celebrating 25 years together this July. We have three wonderful children—Katie, Kendra, and Luke—and one adorable grandson, Crew, whom I absolutely adore. I graduated from Auburn University, where I also had the joy of meeting Tim.
When I’m not working, I love spending quality time camping with my family. There’s nothing better than sitting around a campfire with my children, sharing stories and making memories. Alongside my cherished pets—Georgia, a shepherd mix dog; Faith, an African Grey bird; and four cats named Blueberry, Humphrey, Seymour, and Cheese—I enjoy cooking for my loved ones, diving into a good book, and embarking on exciting travel adventures.
